Extend your summer garden by creating elegant paper florals that will bring colour to your home for multiple seasons! With expert guidance from artist Jessie Chui, learn to construct Purple Coneflowers with simple materials such as crepe paper, glue, and wire. You'll learn how to make intricate and ultra realistic petals and blooms and leave with a delightfully stunning finished flower, along with the skills to continue your creations at home.

A new 6-month cohort of the Paper Talk Mastermind begins on September 8th, 2026, and we’d love to have you with us.
This is a creative business mastermind for paper florists and artists who are ready to grow with purpose. Twice a month on Tuesdays (10AM PT / 12PM CT / 1PM ET) , we’ll gather for structured live strategy calls, hot seats, and heartfelt support all led by Quynh Nguyen, Jessie Chui, and Sara Kim.

Nasturtium Workshop

In this hands-on workshop led by celebrated artist Jessie Chui, author of Paper Flowers, you’ll learn how to craft a lifelike Nasturium Vine from high-quality paper.
From sculpting graceful petals to painting realistic foliage, you’ll be walked through the techniques needed to create your own everlasting botanical masterpiece!
Discover the joy of working with Italian crepe paper and Japanese kozo, coming together to create a beautiful bloom you'll definitely want to display in your home.
You’ll leave with one fully finished nasturtium, plus some extra paper and guidance to continue your crafting journey at home.
Paper Anemone Workshop

Discover the art of crafting strikingly beautiful crêpe paper anemone flowers – a bold, dramatic bloom that bridges summer into fall. Crêpe paper is a uniquely textured, stretchable material that can be shaped and sculpted into lifelike forms. In this hands-on workshop, you'll learn how to stretch and shape crêpe paper petals, build a striking, dark, contrasting centre with fluffy stamens, and assemble a full anemone stem with leaves. Walk away with new skills you can use again and again, from statement centerpieces to elegant gift toppers. Suitable for beginners and those with some paper flower experience. All materials and step-by-step instructional handouts provided upon payment of $15.00 Materials Fee to instructor at the workshop. Please bring a pair of sharp scissors. Only 8 spots.
Pansy Workshop
SEW & BLOOM | CAMBRIDGE, MA | WED JULY 29, 2026 @ 3-5PM
From Sew & Bloom's Website: Toronto-based paper flower sculpture artist and photographer Jessie Chui will be joining us IN PERSON to teach us how to make her beautiful paper pansies (the same ones on the white iron shelf at the shop!) This will be a 2-hour class in the shop on the afternoon of Wednesday, July 29th from 3 - 5pm. We'll each make 1 pansy flower and 1 bud with leaves. The fee is $80 for the workshop.
PRIVATE CLASSES
ONE-ON-ONE AND PRIVATE GROUP LESSONS IN MY STUDIO
I offer one-on-one lessons and private group classes at my home studio in Mississauga, Ontario.
A lesson/class runs for 2.5 - 3 hours in length. I only teach one paper flower during that duration. The particular version of the paper flower I teach is designed for those who have never made paper flowers before or have a bit of experience and want to learn more. Here are some flowers that I can teach: Icelandic Poppy, Open Rose, Happy Single Kiss Dahlia, Anemone, Claire de Lune Peony, Butterfly Ranunculus, Poinsettia, and Daffodil.
Please contact me if you believe your experience is more advanced and would like to learn a flower that is not listed or a flower that I teach in one of my online courses.
ONE-ON-ONE LESSON* | Start at $400 + HST for a 2.5-3 hour lesson where I teach one flower. If you would like to learn more than one flower, please let me know and I can give you a quote. These lessons are exclusive and closed to other students.
PRIVATE GROUP CLASSES* | Groups of 4 or more students can book a class together, which will run between 2.5-3 hours long. The cost starts at $115/person + HST. These group classes are non-exclusive, so if other students which to join, they are welcome to.
All fees include the use of studio materials/tools, take-home written instructions, and extra materials for you to make a few more flowers at home.
