Hybrid Tea Rose Workshop

Learn how to make a realistic rose flower with foliage using crepe paper, glue and wire, in this 2.5 hour workshop. You’ll learn cutting, folding, moulding and shaping techniques and skills to keep creating, from gift toppers to holiday centrepieces and more! Appropriate for beginners and novices, and those with some paper flower making experience.
Coneflower Workshop

Extend your summer garden by creating elegant paper florals that will bring colour to your home for multiple seasons! With expert guidance from artist Jessie Chui, learn to construct Purple Coneflowers with simple materials such as crepe paper, glue, and wire. You'll learn how to make intricate and ultra realistic petals and blooms and leave with a delightfully stunning finished flower, along with the skills to continue your creations at home. All materials and step-by-step instructional handouts provided upon payment of $15.00 Materials Fee to instructor at workshop. Bring a pair of sharp-tipped scissors. Appropriate for beginners and novices, and those with some paper flower making experience.
Cosmo Workshop
AURORA CULTURAL CENTRE | SUNDAY NOV 16, 2025 @ 10:00AM-1:00PM
Head into the fall with the last of the summer wildflowers and learn how to make long lasting Cupcake Cosmo paper flowers with instructor, Jessie Chui. Students will make the unique petals of this flower (resembling cupcake liners no less!) in two variations, as well as the yellow tipped stamens, and then finish off the flower with delicate leaves. There will be time to make 2 or more flowers during the workshop, with enough supplies in the material kit to make more at home. Appropriate for beginners and novices, and those with some paper flower making experience.
Paper Talk Mastermind

A new 6-month cohort of the Paper Talk Mastermind begins on September 16, 2025, and we’d love to have you with us.
This is a creative business mastermind for paper florists and artists who are ready to grow with purpose. Twice a month on Tuesdays (10AM PT / 12PM CT / 1PM ET) , we’ll gather for live strategy calls, hot seats, and heartfelt support all led by Quynh Nguyen, Jessie Chui, and Sara Kim.

PRIVATE CLASSES
ONE-ON-ONE AND PRIVATE GROUP LESSONS IN MY STUDIO
I offer one-on-one lessons and private group classes at my home studio in Mississauga, Ontario.
A lesson/class runs for 2.5 - 3 hours in length. I only teach one paper flower during that duration. The particular version of the paper flower I teach is designed for those who have never made paper flowers before or have a bit of experience and want to learn more. Here are some flowers that I can teach: Icelandic Poppy, Open Rose, Happy Single Kiss Dahlia, Anemone, Claire de Lune Peony, Butterfly Ranunculus, Poinsettia, and Daffodil.
Please contact me if you believe your experience is more advanced and would like to learn a flower that is not listed or a flower that I teach in one of my online courses.
ONE-ON-ONE LESSON* | Start at $250 + HST, plus a $15 material fee for a 2.5 hour lesson where I teach one flower. If you would like to learn more than one flower, please let me know and I can give you a quote. These lessons are exclusive and closed to other students. However, if you wish to bring a friend who also wants to learn, the additional cost for her would be $50 + HST, plus a $15 material fee.
PRIVATE GROUP CLASSES* | Groups of 3 or more students can book a class together, which will run between 2.5-3 hours long. The cost is $75/person + HST, plus a $15 material fee. These group classes are non-exclusive, so if other students which to join, they are welcome to.
The material fees include the use of studio materials/tools, take-home written instructions, and extra materials for you to make a few more flower at home.
