As autumn arrives and the last of the summer wildflowers fade, why not capture their beauty in a way that lasts for years? On Sunday, November 16, 2025, join me at the Aurora Cultural Centre for a hands-on workshop where you’ll craft whimsical crepe paper Cupcake Cosmos paper flowers - a bloom whose charming petals resemble cupcake liners.

You’ll learn how to make this flower in two variations, create realistic yellow-tipped stamens, and add delicate leaves to complete your design. There will be time to make at least two flowers during the Crepe Paper Cosmos Workshop, with enough materials in your kit to continue at home. Perfect for beginners and those with some paper flower-making experience.

What’s included:

  • All materials provided (upon $15 materials fee paid to instructor at the workshop)

  • Step-by-step instructional handouts to keep creating at home

  • Hands-on practice creating petals, stamens, and leaves

What to bring:

  • A pair of sharp-tipped scissors

Come spend a creative morning, connect with others, and leave with a one-of-a-kind handmade crepe paper cosmos and the skills to make many more.

Date: Sunday November 16, 10:00 am – 1:00 pm
Location: Aurora Town Square
Cost: Workshop fee + $15.00 materials fee (payable at workshop)
